The Power Academy is taught by Lisa Power Steinmetz, T.C.R.G.  She is certified with the Irish Dance Commission (CLRG), the North American Teacher's Association, and the Western US Region or Irish Dance to instruct dancers or all ages and levels. Lisa competed throughout the Western Region with top three placements regionally and locally with a top 5 placement at the North American Irish Dance Championships. Lisa qualified for the World Championships numerous times and participated twice, earning a top 1/3 placement.

The Power Academy teaches a curriculum of Traditional Irish Step Dance, including solo softshoe and hardshoe, and Ceili, or group dancing. From there we build on this traditional foundation to create contemporary Irish Dance pieces in the style of Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.

The Power Academy is certified by the An Coimisiùn le Rincí Gaelacha in Ireland, and follows the standards of excellence outlined by that organization. The Power Academy teaches a curriculum of Traditional Irish Step Dance, including solo softshoe and hardshoe, and Ceili, or group dancing. From there we build on this traditional foundation to create contemporary Irish Dance pieces in the style of Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.
