The Cosa Meara Company was the first collegiate Irish dance network in the United States. The network was founded in 2006 and it is unclear when it dissolved, estimated in the early 2010s. It had at least ten member schools, including Florida State University, Loyola University Chicago, Marquette University, Syracuse University, University of California Santa Barbara, University of Chicago, University of Dayton, University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the University of Minnesota. The current national collegiate dance network is the Collegiate Irish Dance Association, which as of 2026 has over 30 member schools. [1]
